Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy II kicked Hancock's backside at the box office for its opening Friday yesterday. Gross receipts according to Variety totaled $13.8 million.
On the downside of the cash count was Eddie Murphy's Meet Dave which brought in a humble $1.7 million.
